Does anyone else have a sleeptalking dog? My rotty x regularly whimpers and barks in her sleep. Sometimes she even startles herself and wakes up very confused and starts barking at a non-existent dog outside!
My other dog is funny, she watches her and looks from her to me as if to ask 'Mum, is she ok? What the hell is she doing?'
She even 'runs' in her sleep sometimes, her feet start going like nobody's business! So cute. I love my doggies, they just bring so much joy.

kimmykak, my lab x goldren retriever does the same thing! she wimpers and moves her legs, like running. One time we saw her snarling too! which we thought was quite funny as she is the most placcid, submissive dog ever!

sometimes, if it has been going on for a little while (and particular if she is snarling) we will gently pat her to wake her up. I hate the thought of her having a bad dream!!

Doggies are so gorgeous, arent they?!!

From what I am aware of our dogs don't do that...but i just wanted to see if you have seen the sleeping running dog on you tube? he starts running slowly, then gets up a quick pace...and then all of a sudden gets up and runs straight in to the wall!

My 2 labs do that too.

Growing up our lab used to snore so loud that you could hear him through 2 walls.
